I have had a lifetime love of crafts, but when I began quilting in 2004 I soon discovered a new passion. Delighted to find myself in the middle of a new movement and a welcoming community of like-minded creatives, I was encouraged to found the Orlando Modern Quilt Guild and still serve on their board. Recently, I opened The Craft Table, a makerspace and studio shop, as a way to share inspiration and joy with others. 

In addition to being a certified Laura Heine fabric collage instructor, I design quilt patterns and hand embroidery patterns. I also have developed a line of craft themed enamel pins, vinyl stickers, and other gift items under the ReneCreates moniker.
